What an amazing Inuit community on the Ungava coast at the top of Quebec. We had an great time trying many different types of Inuit games and various Blueprint members challenged the local champion. The art the youth created even has a dancing polar bear and Daniel, (a local carver) graciously made us all thank you gifts to wear carved out of caribou antler. Some Elders even came to the coop hotel and offered our team fresh Arctic Char. Dr Step from our team is quite the chef so he was super excited to prepare this fresh fish for us. We were well supported by the school principal and teachers and really appreciated how much they actively participated. It was an intense week and a number of youth shared openly some deep secrets in their lives. Such a beautiful community and landscape. We hope to return someday !
