Baker Lake

Wow -this community already loved to dance before we even arrived. Dotty already worked with the youth on a stomp club and the square dancing here is incredible. For the final night a Square dance was even held in our honor and everyone had BluePrint up dancing all night. There must be lots of caribou nearby as every day we could see lots of wolf pelts hanging. Went for a walk on the edge of town and saw caribou up on the hill. This is also the first time we met Nelson Tagoona -one of the local youth. Since then Nelson has exploded with his own creative talent in BeatBoxing and Blueprint is happy to have Nelson involved as one of our team. He is a strong young role model for other youth up north.
