Rankin Inlet 2007

We had an amazing time and were spoiled by Page who runs the Nanug Lodge bed and breakfast. In one of the photos there is an Elder showing one of the traditional dolls she made. She said one of the nicest things to us. She thanked us and said we were preserving their culture. According to her she had taught he granddaughter to throat sing but she didn’t want to do it anymore. After our workshop her granddaughter was excited to keep learning it and to try and perform more. We got to visit the ancient Thule sites and were treated to some incredible Northern Lights. The youth decided to create a large mural that states “Anythings Possible”. Yes it is! Thanks Rankin!
